Cut for sensors. Made for people.

Every mask is engineered per platform. Cameras see through it; people see something they can love.

01 / SENSOR-MAPPED APERTURES

Full field of view

Camera, lidar, and microphone openings are cut per platform from the maker’s sensor map. Nothing is covered that needs to see.

02 / MAGNETIC PERIMETER MOUNT

On in four seconds

Tool-free magnetic mounting around the head shell, under 180 grams. On, off, washed, back on.

03 / THERMAL CLEARANCE

Runs cool under fabric

Vent paths follow each platform’s exhaust layout, with clearances checked against the maker’s thermal spec.

04 / REVISION-AWARE FIT

Cut to your exact revision

Head geometry shifts between hardware revisions. The pattern adapts per hardware revision, and the free print file ships with revision-specific variants.

A real knitted textile face on the 1X Neo robot

Real knit exists. We didn’t invent the idea, we opened it up.

This is a real photograph of a real stitched textile face: the 1X Neo, the robot that proved soft works. Our stitched run is built to that standard, and every render above is labeled a preview, not a promise.

Every mask: magnetic perimeter mount · under 180 g · sensor apertures mapped per model · PETG/TPU print profiles included in the free file. Care by material: knit washes at 30°C; felt takes a soft brush; shells wipe clean.

Questions humans ask

Will the face make my robot look human?

No, and that is the point. We aim for "robot that is glad you are home," not "wax museum." Warm eyes, calm expression, zero uncanny valley.

Will a mask block my robot's sensors?

No. Every pattern is sensor-mapped per model, with apertures and mesh zones for full camera, lidar, and microphone fidelity.

How does it attach?

A magnetic perimeter mount, tool-free, under 180 grams. On and off in about four seconds.

Can I wash it?

Knit washes at 30°C and air-dries. Silicone and ceramic-finish shells wipe clean. Felt takes a soft brush. Printed PETG or TPU wipes clean.

Is the $99 mask real?

It is a reserved first run: no charge today, first dibs when it opens. If Run 001 has not opened within 90 days, your reservation dissolves on its own; nothing is ever charged without an email first. Every AI render on this site is labeled a preview; the photographed knit in the specs section is the real standard we are building to.
